James 1:5

Wednesday, February 19, 2025

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (NKJV)

Do you find yourself lacking wisdom? Some individuals may hold the belief that they already possess wisdom, deeming their existing knowledge sufficient for navigating life's journey. However, it is essential for us to know the truth that every one of us lacks wisdom. We lack wisdom in communication and in our relationships, managing our businesses and parenting our children. The bible tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask of God and He will give it to us all liberally and without reproach. God will give it to us generously without finding fault with us because God sees us as righteous. With one sacrifice, Jesus has perfected forever those who are being sanctified (Hebrews 10:14). By one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. Our standing in Christ and our identity has been perfected forever. We are entirely righteous in Christ. As believers, in our daily living, we are continuously being sanctified and made holy. It is a process. As we receive wisdom, our life will progressively improve. The bible says the life of the righteous will be brighter and brighter. Let us all pray for divine wisdom today. Amen!

Romans 6:4

Tuesday, February 18, 2025

Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (NIV)

Today, we have been buried with Jesus into death through baptism. Therefore, let us see ourselves buried together with Jesus on the cross to live a new life just as Jesus was raised from the dead. Our old selves have been buried with Jesus on the cross, and we have raised together with Him to a new life. According to the Bible, we are now a new creation; the old has passed, and the new has come. Amen! We are all young and revitalized today. We have a new life. The Bible in Psalms 92 states that those planted in the house of the Lord will bear fruit in old age, and you will be fresh and flourishing. We are to understand that when Jesus went to the cross, we were sacrificed together with Him. We were raised with Him when He was risen, hence we are a living sacrifice. Moreover, the Bible states that this is true and proper worship. Hence, whenever you encounter any issue, instead of depending on your own knowledge and efforts, believe that you have already been sacrificed and buried together with Jesus and raised up together with Him so that today you can expect to live a new life. Dear friends, the Bible continuously reminds you that you are not alone; Immanuel is with you, and God is always with you.

Isaiah 43:18-19

Monday, February 17, 2025

Isaiah 43:18-19 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV)

Yet, some people dwell on the past despite being physically present. This may be caused by a bad childhood experience, the unfaithfulness of someone close, an insult by someone, or some other bad experience. Why are you still living in the past when God has called you to live in the present? God is telling you not to dwell on the past. He is now doing something new for you, giving you something new in your children's lives. He is doing something new for you for the rest of the year. Now it appears; do you not perceive it? Many of us cannot see in our hearts what the Lord has in store for us. We are not perceiving, but we are reasoning. When we infer too much and see only the negatives, we lose the joy in life. According to the Bible, God is providing a way for you in your wilderness and when you are thirsty. God says He is making streams for you and providing for you in the wasteland. Amen! Today, God is asking you, "Do you not perceive that I am doing a new thing in your life?"

Luke 15:23

Sunday, February 16, 2025

Luke 15:23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. (NIV)

This particular aspect of the parable holds great significance. What Jesus wants us to grasp here is not the prodigal son's faults. The fattened calf has been killed. Often, we tend to dwell on our own shortcomings, mistakes, weaknesses, and temper issues. However, God is not preoccupied with our shortfalls. The fattened calf has already been sacrificed. God has already sent His Son to die on the cross for us. Jesus' blood has been shed, and His body has been broken. And what did the father say? ‘Let’s have a feast and celebrate.” He did not say, “You have a feast and celebrate.” It's "Let’s..." - involving both the father and the son. Likewise, today, you are sitting together with your heavenly Father and feasting. You are celebrating with your heavenly Father, so you can be joyful. What significance does the fattened calf hold? It means that today, you are feasting on Jesus’ body. You are drinking His blood, which is why you can be joyful. This joy is not dependent on our actions or lack thereof. Hence today, we do not need to hide from God even if we have made mistakes. The fattened calf has already been killed. Today, God desires us to remember our position and identity. When we partake of Jesus’ body and His blood, we will be satisfied and joyful, not related to our performance. What truly matters is that the fattened calf has already been sacrificed. Consequently, today, we can feast and celebrate in the presence of our heavenly Father. Amen!

Romans 7:6

Saturday, February 15, 2025

Romans 7:6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (NKJV)

Previously when we were under the law, although the law is good, it could not help you. It could only tell you your imperfections and set the standard that needs to be fulfilled. The standard that needs to be met is impossible for us. Conversely, under grace, we serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter with our heart. For an example in a relationship, we do not follow particular steps or orders in a date, but rather is based on the heart. When you know the difference between these two husbands, which one do you choose? When you accept Jesus, you are under Jesus. The first husband, Adam, only deemed that you are unworthy, always in the wrong “X”. On the other hand, under Jesus, because of one drip of His blood, the Chinese word “ 义 ” is formed, meaning you are righteous in Christ. Hence, we are blessed to be freed from the first husband and accepted by the second husband. Let us now see what changed before and after we accepted Christ. Today, we are so blessed.

Psalm 27:5

Friday, February 14, 2025

Psalm 27:5 For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. (NIV)

How many of you desire to be safe in His dwelling? Beloved, the truth is that the Lord is always with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. The question is: Are you conscious of His presence in your life? When you wake up tomorrow morning, will you be mindful of His presence? Regardless of whether you are aware of it or not, the Lord is still with you. Amen! However, the difference is that you will either live a life of fear or a life of rest. Friends, let us not live with fear in life. We do not want sleepless nights. We do not want to control everything ourselves. Let us all be conscious that the Lord is always with us and will raise us up in life. He will keep us safe. His goodness and mercy will pursue us all the days of our lives. We are successful because the Lord is with us, not because of what we have or do. He is not distant, He is very close. Those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High God will be under the shadow of the Almighty. How do we step into His shadow? We need to be very close to Him for it to be so. Do you realize that Jesus is very close to you right now? He understands every fear, every worry, and every bitterness in your heart. It is time for you to turn to Him and tell Him that you want to submit every worry and fear to Him. You want to entrust your children, business, and health into His hands under the kairos time. Amen!

Luke 24:27

Thursday, February 13, 2025

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. (NKJV)

While walking alongside them, Jesus expounded these two disciples the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures, beginning from Moses to all the Prophets. If you seek hope in life, desire breakthroughs, and are determined not to let this year go to waste, start delving into matters concerning this one man, Jesus Christ – what is He proclaiming in your life? What is He telling you? Hence, keep the word of God in memory for aid in times of need or depression. When confronted by fear, no comforting words from friends or family can provide lasting comfort. Similarly, words of encouragement from friends cannot help you combat your addictions. Hence, We need a steadfast platform or anchor, and that is the word of God which can sustain us in life. As we start believing Him in our hearts, let us also understand the heart of our heavenly Father. Do you perceive Him as a punitive God or are you seeing Him as a God of grace? The bible attests that Jesus came to fulfil all the requirements of the law on our behalf. Can you discern the grace of the Father in this truth? There is not a single sin which has not been addressed by the blood of Jesus. All we need to do is to believe that we have been made righteous in Christ.

Psalm 23:6

Wednesday, February 12, 2025

Psalm 23:6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (NIV)

When you cling to the word of God, do not distance yourself from Him, but instead, understand your position as a beloved child of God, and His goodness and love will surely follow you all the days of your life. You do not need to actively pursue this goodness and love; rather, they will naturally follow you. What do you have to do? You only need to dwell in the house of the Lord. The word “dwell” in Hebrew means to abide in your position. God wants you to quickly put on the robe and know your identity. Know your position. Hence, to dwell in the house of the Lord means to abide in your position as a child of God. By understanding you are a child of God, be assured that Jesus will make a way for you even when it seems impossible. He will resolve your issues. He will open a new and living way for you. He will grant you wisdom and anoint your hands and feet to accomplish significant and enduring tasks. We do not need to fulfil any requirements to approach this throne of grace. Our performance is not required. This is a throne where we can find grace to help us when we need it (Hebrews 4:16). What is grace? Grace is Jesus. Today we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence where we will find mercy and grace. You will find the help you need there. During moments of despair and helplessness, let us not leave the house of God. Instead, return to Him, knowing that He will always accept and provide for us, and goodness and love will follow you all the days of your life.

James 1:16-17

Tuesday, February 11, 2025

James 1:16-17 So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (NLT)

Do not be misled. Avoid fixating on the wrong aspects in life. Frequently, we find ourselves focusing on our difficulties, fixating on problems. We look at the needs of our children. We persistently cling to life's challenges. Verse 17 highlights that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of the heavenly lights. This verse emphasizes that every single need and desire in your life can be provided for by your heavenly Father. Therefore, guard your perspective. No matter how immense your challenges appear, you are not alone. You have a Father and you are no longer an orphan. In your Father’s house, there is provision for you. His supply does not change like shifting shadows. Often, our distress is a result of misdirected focus. We overlook the reality that we have a heavenly Father who tends to our well-being.

Luke 15:5

Monday, February 10, 2025

Luke 15:5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. (NKJV)

No matter the challenges you may be facing today, remember – Jesus is greater than any problem. Jesus can help with situations beyond your own capabilities. Amen! There is a parable in the bible describing a shepherd with 100 sheep. When one of the sheep went missing, Jesus would leave the 99 to search for the lost sheep, and He joyfully carried the sheep home on his shoulders. From a human’s perspective, if we have 100 sheep and one got lost, we would rather ensure the safety of the remaining 99 instead of looking for the lost sheep. However, unlike our human tendencies, every sheep is precious to Him and Jesus would leave the 99 to search for the single lost sheep. With our human nature, there is a tendency that we would chastise the wandering sheep. This situation is similar to when a child strays away in a shopping center and the mother finally finds the child. Naturally, the mother would be upset and the child would be reprimanded. However, Jesus' response is filled with joy and celebration upon finding the lost sheep. This signifies that we are precious to Him, and He actively seeks to find us when we feel lost, weak, or troubled. Similar to how a human father hears and recognizes the cry of his baby, so does our Heavenly Father. So, even if we make mistakes, remember that our Heavenly Father still loves us dearly. We remain precious in His sight, and He hears and recognizes our every cry. Thus, take comfort in knowing that Jesus will always be there to find us and celebrate our return.

Matthew 6:33

Sunday, February 9, 2025

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (NKJV)

Jesus does not want you to solely focus on your needs and what you can see. Although He knows that you need these things, He wants you to change your mind and direction to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. In Romans 14:17, the kingdom of God is not the matter of eating and drinking, but is of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Instead of pursuing the material needs, pursue the righteousness of God who is Jesus, who had no sin to be sin for us, and all these things shall be added to you. Let us focus on Jesus, who died for us, who loves us even though we are faithless, who never gives up on you, instead of the physical needs as we come to church today. Do you still remember He still loves you? Do you comprehend the depth and height of his love for you? Do you understand his unfailing love for you? Let us enjoy Jesus. When you have a relationship with Jesus, you will only want to enjoy Jesus in your life. When you are troubled, you can enjoy Jesus in your troubles. Why are you crying out today? Move on, go, and the Lord is with you. He will fight for you. His rod and staff will comfort you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Luke 6:44-45

Saturday, February 8, 2025

Luke 6:44a-45 For every tree is known by its own fruit…A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. (NKJV)

Every tree can be identified by its own fruit. When we see an apple hanging from a tree, we know it is an apple tree. What does the fruit signify? The answer is in verse 45. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good. The good treasure in your heart possesses a remarkable creative power. When you believe in and envision positive things, it has the ability to manifest goodness in your life. Today, if you choose to imagine good things for your family, it will produce positive outcomes for your children. Conversely, if you harbor negative imaginations in your heart, they will yield unfavorable results. Furthermore, the Scripture mentions “for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” When a person continuously imagines something that is so evil and negative to the point it becomes abundant in his heart, the bible says that his mouth will speak out the evil that is in him. However, today, if we fill our hearts abundantly with good imaginations, with good faith and beliefs that God will bless us, God will make us as trees planted by streams of water. Therefore, we will bear fruit in our seasons, our leaves will not wither and whatever we do will prosper. When you have this picture well-embedded in your heart, you can confidently declare that you are like the tree planted by streams of water. Amen!

Friday, February 7, 2025

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (NKJV)

You are a CHOSEN generation, you are chosen to do great things in your life. You are a royal priesthood, both a king and a priest, that you may proclaim praises of Him, to tell others how God turns bad circumstances in your life to good; how God restore your joy, your relationships. We can sing praises of Him because we are called out of darkness into His marvelous light. We are living stones, brought out from darkness to the temple of God and a precious piece in this church. As we see this church being built up, as more souls are being saved, you will see how God uses your life mightily. You are chosen, a royal priesthood, and are called to do great things in your life. Let us praise and worship Jesus who is our cornerstone, our strength, and our Shepherd who makes us never be in want. You are loved, you are chosen, and you are called by Him!

Psalms 91:9-10

Thursday, February 6, 2025

Psalms 91:9-10 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; (NKJV)

But how can we activate this promise in our lives? It begins by deeply comprehending the magnitude of God's love for you. The challenge arises when an inner voice attempts to convince us that God is displeased with us and consequently distanced from us. At times, our overwhelming problems seem to overshadow our ability to sense God's love for us. Today, do not evaluate God's love based on your circumstances; instead, ascertain His love for you through the ultimate sacrifice of His Son on the cross. There is immeasurable power when you fix your gaze upon the cross. As you behold Jesus and perceive the depth of His love for you, a divine activation transpires, unleashing His power and mercy to a degree that no plague can come near you. When we shift our focus from our circumstances to the cross, we realize that our problems are not orchestrated by God. In our times of need, all that we need has been supplied and settled at the cross. It is the devil who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Nevertheless, God's restoration always surpasses any devastation we encounter. Amidst the challenges you face, remember that God is your unwavering strength and help.

Psalm 23:5

Wednesday, February 5, 2025

Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. (NKJV)

This conveys that God is aware that you may currently be facing enemies in your life. Each of us has different adversaries. The devil wants us to focus on our enemies, diverting our attention from the table or feast that the Lord has set before us. But do you know that the Lord's table is always right in front of us, while the enemy remains at a distance? It is the conqueror who can confidently dine in the presence of the enemy. Have you ever wondered why we eat in front of the enemy? It is to humiliate and shame them, for they have already been defeated. Church, you already have this bountiful table set before you, so simply partake of it. Feast not only on physical sustenance but also on the Word of God; consume what the Word says to you. The Word declares that you are healthy, strong, and more than a conqueror. No one can stand against you because the Lord is by your side. The Shepherd is with you, guarding and tending to the sheep. We cannot care for the Shepherd or serve Him, for it is the Shepherd who serves us. He anoints our heads with oil, and our cups overflow.

Genesis 13:17-18a

Tuesday, February 4, 2025

Genesis 13:17-18a Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you. Then Abram moved his tent… (NKJV)

In verse 17, God told Abram to walk through the land that will be given to him. Did God really intend for Abram to physically walk through the land? No. God was actually telling Abram to envision himself walking through the entirety of the land. So what did Abram do? In verse 18, the bible says Abram moved his tent. Here is the proof that Abram did not need to physically walk through all the land. He just needed to imagine in his heart traversing the length and width of the land bestowed upon him by God. Today, God beckons you to envision yourselves walking through the length and width of all the blessings that He has already given you. However, it is essential to first move the “tent” signifying that you are no longer of the old creation but you are now a new creation. You have moved to a new location. You are not in the dominion of darkness but you are now in the kingdom of the Son that God loves. We are not bound by curses but blessed abundantly. We are not plagued by illness but enjoy vibrant health.

Monday, February 3, 2025

2 Corinthians 9:10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. (ESV)

Notice that the bible again mentions about provision for both your future and your present. Who supplies? God. He will also multiply your seed for sowing and this could mean your sowing into your local church, you sowing to the people around you and sowing into the kingdom of God. As for your current needs, God will increase the harvest of the righteous. When you believe in Jesus, you are already made righteous. Do you know how righteous you are? How attentive are you to the word of God? Are you walking by sight or by faith? Are you thinking that God does not love you? You can have these thoughts although you are already righteous. The truth is that God loves you but you feel otherwise. This can affect your harvest. But if you walk life knowing that God really loves you, and that He is your source of supply, it can increase the harvest of your righteousness.

Romans 11:16

Sunday, February 2, 2025

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. (NKJV)

The level of fear in your life can tell you how much you understand His love. When you understand His love you, His love casts out all fear. If the root is holy, the branches are holy. The root decides the state of a plant. For a plant to grow well, the root needs to be well. Similarly, if you desire your life to be well, this root can no longer be Adam or us, it has to be Jesus as only Jesus is perfect. We are the branches, hence when the root (Jesus) is healthy, so are we. All nutrients flow from the root to the branches, be it health, prosperity, good looks and youthfulness. Hence, you do not need to worry about the fruits, when the root is good, the fruits will be prosperous. You are a new creation, holy and blameless in His sight. You are his beloved, thus your fruits will definitely be different from the worldly fruits.

1 Corinthians 8:1

Saturday, February 1, 2025

1Corinthians 8:1 …How easily we get puffed up (phusioo - to make natural) over our opinions! But love builds up (oikodomio-to build up) the structure of our new life. (TPT)

Have you ever wondered whether knowledge is profitable? Of course, we recognize the necessity of education and engaging with the world. We do not advocate for abandoning your responsibilities or ceasing to stay informed about current affairs. However, it is crucial to understand that the accumulation of knowledge, if pursued solely for its own sake within the confines of the church, can cause you to be puffed up over our personal opinions. The Greek term for "puffed up" is "phusioo," which conveys the idea of becoming natural. Church, our aspiration is not to be bound by the natural but to embrace the supernatural. Love, not knowledge, serves as the foundation for our growth and development. Love constructs the framework of our new life. Although we may not often perceive the structure of our transformed existence, it is not knowledge that aids us in this endeavor. We gather here in the church to deepen our understanding of the Lord's immense love for us. When we comprehend the depth of His love, this love fortifies and constructs us, meeting every need that arises. Rather than questioning the why, our focus should rest upon the how—how He loves us, cares for us, and willingly sacrificed Himself for our salvation. This new life possesses a definitive structure.

Friday, January 31, 2025

1John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (NKJV)

Many among us find great delight in worldly possessions such as delicious food, luxurious cars, and large houses. However, the bible tells us not to love the world or the things in the world. It does not mean that God is not keen for you to enjoy pleasures in life. Pastor Aaron believes that when the apostle John wrote this verse, he was addressing those who lived solely for worldly pursuits. These individuals were excessively focused on amassing wealth, acquiring possessions, and fulfilling their desires. The verse further says that if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Often, when we read this verse, we may interpret it to mean that if someone loves the world, they do not love God. We may misinterpret when a person did not attend church as someone who does not love God, or when a person pursues worldly possessions, we may misinterpret that the individual does not love God. However, this is a misconception of the bible verse. Instead, the bible explains that if anyone solely pursues the things of the world, the love of the Father is not in him. This does not imply that our Heavenly Father does not love you. Rather, we do not comprehend the love of the Father is always with us. Hence, we fight our battles alone, relying solely on our own resources. We lose sight of the fact that God loves us unconditionally and is always by our side. That is why the verse mentions that the love of the Father is not in him. It does not imply that our Father does not love us but instead we have forgotten about His love for us. Hence today, keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
