Ephesians 1:7-8

Sunday, April 6, 2025

Ephesians 1:7-8 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, symbolized by the Holy Communion which we all partook of earlier. We have redemption through His blood. What is redemption? You were poor but now you are rich. You were locked down in the pit but now you are free. You had a disease but now you are healed. That is redemption. You did not have a good marital relationship but now you have a happy marriage. That is redemption. You were estranged from your children but now they are close to you. That is redemption. The bible says that in Christ we have redemption. Therefore, your life can undergo a transformation. The bible also says that we have a hope which does not disappoint. And with this redemption, we have forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace. When we give out of our wealth, it means we give out a portion of the money we have.

Deuteronomy 28:8

Saturday, April 5, 2025

Deuteronomy 28:8 The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. (NKJV)

The Lord will command His blessing on you. Isn’t that wonderful? It is the same as when the Lord says that He will give His angels charge over you. Isn’t it comforting to know that wherever you go, His angels are surrounding you? They are responsible for you. We could have been protected and kept safe more times than we know about. Nothing is a coincidence. And yet, many times we fail to thank Him for protecting us. The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses – the storehouses could mean your bank accounts. And in all to which you set your hand – this refers to your business or your work. God will bless you in your business or your workplace. And He will bless you in the land which the Lord is giving you – no matter where He has stationed you, in the big city or a small town, God will bless you wherever you are.

Titus 3:5

Friday, April 4, 2025

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, (NKJV)

The love of God comes not by our works of righteousness. Another translation says it does not come on the basis of our deeds of righteousness. It is not because you do good that makes God love you, but it is because God is merciful towards us that He saved us. We are imperfect but He still loves us. We imperfect people are still loved by a perfect God. Amen. How does He save us? Through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Here God promises that when we are washed, there is a regeneration. If you are old in age, you will receive strength through the regeneration. This regeneration and renewal are of the Holy Spirit. For he is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit. Jesus is sent by God. He speaks God’s words because God gives him the Spirit without limit. Hence, if you are operating in the spirit, you will want to speak God’s words. The words of God are important. When your peers say they are old and useless, you will say that you are still fresh and flourishing. Today we have been hearing about God loving us to the extent that Jesus wants to wash our feet daily, and this washing is done by the Holy Spirit who is inside us.

John 1:17

Thursday, April 3, 2025

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (NIV)

In this present moment, let us receive the Word to build us up and receive the inheritance in Christ. Today, let us learn to see things through the lens of grace. How do you view your surroundings today? Are you seeing things according to grace and truth, or are you perceiving them according to the demands of the world? Are you looking at your spouse, children, and family through the lens of demand, or are you believing that God’s grace is always sufficient in your life? When you have a squabble with your spouse, do you see through the lens of grace that since God has forgiven you, you can take the initiative to be the first to apologize? Grace is neither a doctrine nor a teaching, instead grace is a person. The bible tells us that the law was given through Moses. The law is all about demand, requiring you to fulfill the demands first before you can receive. In contrast, the bible states that grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, as described in John 1:17. When Jesus came as a person, grace and truth follow Him into your life. When you see the person of Jesus and believe in Him, grace and truth will follow you all the days of your life.

Acts 3:6

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” (NKJV)

Peter told the lame man that he does not have silver nor gold to give him, but what he has, he will give him. Pastor Aaron believes that Peter was not poor but instead of giving the man silver and gold, Peter believed that he could give him something better. Sometimes helping people is not about giving them money but giving them Jesus. Peter told the man to look at him so that he could look into his eyes as though to tell him silver and gold is not as important as what he had to give. So, Peter said to the man “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” In essence, Peter was telling the man not to look at the silver and gold. Likewise, even though God’s heart is to prosper us, we are not to look at the things, the prosperity of the things, but let us look to the person of Jesus Christ and lift His holy name higher.

John 13:3

Tuesday, April 1, 2025

John 13:3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, (NKJV)

Despite knowing the impending suffering that He had to endure, Jesus focused His thoughts on knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands. Likewise, let us not dwell on whatever situations we are facing this year but instead focus our thoughts on knowing that our heavenly Father has also given all things into our hands. For those who are sick, know that good health is already in your hands. Good relationships are already in your hands. Financial breakthrough is already in your hands. Your business is poised for an incredible growth. Amen! God has already put all these into our hands but many times, we are only aware of what is visible to us. Perhaps you say that you are still having the symptoms and taking medication, and you just cannot feel that God loves you. The bible tells us not to go by the things which are visible. Do you know what you should do? My friend, come to church, start reading His word and meditate on His promises. His word tells you that He loves you and will protect you. His promises will lay the foundation, and you will know that God has already given you all things. Hence, we should not rely on what we feel but instead base our beliefs on what we read in the scriptures. And the scriptures say Jesus loves you. You may not feel it but the bible tells you to just know and believe. Amen!

Psalm 119:130

Monday, March 31, 2025

Psalm 119:130 The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. (NKJV)

How do we have light? The entrance of His words gives light. This is the verse of the year. We will shine brightly when we hold onto the word of life. There is a connection between having His word and having light, and when there is light, His glory can be seen. When His glory can be seen, it means the abundance of the sea and the wealth of the Gentiles will come into your life. When we look back, where did it all start? The entrance of the word gives light. Without the Word and the seed, how do we see the tree? Without the tree, how do we see the fruit? Without the fruit, how do we get more seeds? The entrance of the Word is the beginning for all things in our lives. It gives understanding to the simple. God will teach us how to be good parents, how to be good husbands or wives, how to be a good child, and how to be good businessmen. All the understanding we need comes from Him.

John 6:40

Sunday, March 30, 2025

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (NKJV)

Jesus says that this is the will of God – that every one who sees the Son (Jesus) and believes in Him may have ever lasting life. It is not just about knowing Jesus, you must believe in Him also and you will have ever lasting life. And this life is the life of abundance. God will give you all the things you need but you must have the Son first. If you have the Son, you will have life. If you do not have the Son, you will not have life. And Jesus also says, “I will raise him up at the last day.” As the world gets darker and weirder, it is a sign that Jesus is coming back for us soon. Then our bodies will be changed in the rapture. So John is telling us not to chase after the things of the world but to do the will of God, that is, to go after the Son of God, believe in Him and you will have life, and all the things you need including prosperity, and good health. Have you come to the realization that when you have tasted His love for you? When you understand how much He loves you, you can live life without fear.

Romans 5:5

Saturday, March 29, 2025

Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (NKJV)

The love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is in you already. This year, let us start praying in tongues to communicate with the Holy Spirit so that he can remind you to remain under the love of God that has been poured into your heart. Let us all meditate on this verse so that when we come to the end of the year, we can say that truly God has been so good to us and His hope does not disappoint. Amen! This year, it is not about seeking worldly things but many will go into the word of God to look for the person of Jesus. They will want to bind with Jesus, entwine themselves with Him and remain under His love, and the glory of God will be seen, His blessings will pour forth. When God blesses you, it is for a purpose which is to advance the gospel and or to enable you to be a blessing to those around you so that you can rise up to be a pillar to bless others on God’s behalf. You are a vessel of God. All that we have are from God and for God.

Galatians 3:26

Friday, March 28, 2025

Galatians 3:26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. (NIV)

The majority of people in the world have the mindset of a slave. Very often, we erroneously believe that in order to obtain God's favour, we must fulfil certain requirements and live a righteous life to receive His blessings. This mindset is that of a slave. It is akin to the dynamics at your workplace, where exceptional performance and meeting certain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are prerequisites for receiving your remuneration. The more KPI are met, the more rewards and bonuses you will receive. At this moment, why do you need to act like a slave in front of God, when you have been called a “child of God”? Many of us were naughty when we were young, but our fathers still loved us. This is the same with our Heavenly Father. Let us just be God’s children in front of Him. Our Father will always protect us. The bible reassures that if we as earthly fathers can give good things to our children, how much more our heavenly Father? No matter how much we love our children as earthly fathers, our love for them can never match the great love which God, our heavenly Father has for us. Brothers and sisters, we are not slaves, but children of God. Today, let us see the difference between a slave and a son.

Deuteronomy 28:4

Thursday, March 27, 2025

Deuteronomy 28:4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body… (NKJV)

The bible tells of another blessing which is on the fruit of our body, that means, all our children shall be blessed. Amen. It is a fact that all parents worry about their children from the moment of their birth until adulthood, and the worry continues all the way to their children’s children! Parents, the bible says that your children shall be personally taught by the Lord. Therefore, you do not need to worry about who they make friends with later in life if you place them in an environment where they can grow up knowing that they are so much loved by the Lord, and also by their parents and grandparents. Let us submit all our children into God’s hands and we shall see the fulfillment of the verse “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body.” Amen!

Zechariah 9:8

Wednesday, March 26, 2025

Zechariah 9:8 But I will encamp at my temple to guard it against marauding forces. Never again will an oppressor overrun my people, for now I am keeping watch. (NIV)

God says He will encamp at His temple to guard it. This temple can mean the church. God will encamp around the church. That is why you need to come to church. The temple can also mean your body so God will encamp around you to guard you and your family. God will encamp at the temple to guard it against marauding forces. There are dark forces that wants to attack the church, our body, and our family but God is encamping around us to protect us and He says, “Never again will an oppressor overrun my people, for now I am keeping watch.” God himself is keeping watch over us. He says, “I am keeping watch, not my angels. I Myself am keeping watch.” And He is keeping watch over your health, your family, your business, and anything else that you are worried about. Therefore, today we can say as a church that our help is in the hands of the God of Jacob. Our help is in the Lord our God so we need not be afraid. Amen.

Psalm 27:8

Tuesday, March 25, 2025

Psalm 27:8 My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” (NLT)

When we call unto the Lord, it may feel like God is far away, but in truth, your heart knows that God is very near to you. Your heart can hear Him reaching out to you, calling you to come talk to Him. He is asking you to tell Him about your problems, your expectations and everything that is in your heart. When we have this intimate relationship with God, we will desire to talk to the Father, to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. With that desire, you will be able to hear the Lord calling you to come talk to Him, and your heart will respond to His calling. As you acquire the habit of conversing daily with Him, you will foster an intimate relationship with God to share with Him about everything and cast all your cares upon Him. The prayer for you today is not about bringing you out of prison physically, but instead focusing on your beliefs and thoughts. It is your soul that needs to be brought out of prison. Tell the Lord that you just want to look to Him and believe that He is helping you out. You may be a prisoner, you may be ill, but today, you still have hope in life.

Luke 7:37

Monday, March 24, 2025

Luke 7:37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, (NKJV)

There was a woman in the city who was a sinner, probably a prostitute. She was crying at Jesus’ feet, washing His feet with her tears and using her hair to wipe them dry, and then anointing Him with fragrant oil. A Pharisee saw this, and said to himself, “Doesn’t he know what kind of woman she is? Why does he allow her to touch him?” Jesus knew what the Pharisee was thinking and he defended this woman, saying: Luke 7:47 (NKJV) Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” This tells us that a person who knows he is forgiven much will automatically live out a life that loves much. Therefore, do you know how much you are forgiven? We are not perfect. Sometimes we criticized someone for their actions, only to realise later that we behaved the same. Although we are imperfect, today, knowing our shortcomings, and with sins which are many, we hear Jesus saying, “All your sins are forgiven.” All forgiven. When you believe that you are forgiven much, you will thank Jesus for coming to save you. Without Him, today we are nothing. The truth of knowing we have been forgiven much is vital in our lives.

Acts 4:12

Sunday, March 23, 2025

Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (NKJV)

There is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved, and the name is… Jesus! Today, many names are given to men, but none can save you except the name of Jesus. If you feel like you have come to the end of the road and arrive at a crossroads, why not just shout out the name of Jesus? Why not stand in the name of Jesus? How about seeing yourself standing inside the ark of Noah? See Jesus as the door to bring you through all your problems. The name of Jesus can save you. When you have Jesus in your life, you will be saved. When you have Jesus, your children will be saved, your business will be saved. Above anything else, care about the name of Jesus. When you open the door and enter this ark of salvation, every part of you will be saved – spirit, soul, and body. Let us all give glory to the name of Jesus. There is peace within the presence of Jesus. Jesus is for your family, your children, your finances, your well-being, and your children's health, but above all, Jesus is for your family; He is for your family. Amen!

Saturday, March 22, 2025

1John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (NKJV)

Many of you know God loves us, but do you truly believe it in your hearts? The Bible encourages us to firmly believe the immeasurable love that God has for each one of us. So, how do we abide in God? The Bible states that he who abides in love abides in God. The key lies not in dwelling solely on our love for God but rather in abiding in the love that God has for us. Hence, when we abide in the profound love that God has lavished upon us, we are abiding in God Himself. As you truly believe in your heart that God loves you, protects you, and showers you with favor and mercy in your everyday life, you are abiding in God. Amen!

Ephesians 2:8-9

Friday, March 21, 2025

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (NKJV)

It is by grace that you have been saved. Salvation does not merely include eternal life, rather it is the salvation in every aspect of your life. It is by grace (Jesus) that we have been saved through faith. Faith means you believe in Jesus. We live by faith not by sight, which means we live not based on what we see but by what we believe. “.. and that not of yourselves” – the grace which has been given to you is not of yourself, but by faith and looking at the person of Jesus. The bible states clearly that it is the gift of God. Grace is given to you as a gift. Do you want to accept it? Verse 9 affirms that it is not of works – it is not based on our performance, or how good we are, so that today no one can boast. It is a gift. When we talk about grace, there are two things we need to be mindful of. The first is about receiving. You can never earn grace, you can only receive it. Secondly, whenever the bible talks about grace, it emphasises the abundance of grace (Romans 5:17). Jesus is not selfish. When Jesus provides healing, it is to all your flesh according to the bible. When you understand that grace is for you to receive and God gives it to you abundantly, together with the gift of righteousness the bible promises that you will reign (in other words, win) in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1-2

Thursday, March 20, 2025

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have the access by the faith into this grace in which we have stood Besides having His shalom peace, (NKJV)

So, what is next after we have been raised up together with Christ, and having been declared righteous? Currently, our position is that we have been declared righteous. Next, the bible says that by faith, we now have peace towards God in Christ Jesus. You have peace with God. Now that we know we are righteous, we can also declare that we have His shalom peace to protect us, our families, and in every aspect of our lives. Verse 2 tells us that we also have access by faith into His grace, which means we have access to all the provisions and supplies in heaven. It is like God giving you His credit card and its pin number as well. Amen. What is grace? It is walking in favour all the days of your life. God’s favour is upon you when you are undergoing your treatment. God’s favour is with you when you walk into a store with other customers coming in after you. God’s favour is upon you in that your friends want to spend time with you because talking to you makes them feel pleasant. Favour means your children love to spend time with you. This tells us that after we have been raised with Christ, and having been declared righteous, today we have peace, favour, and grace in our lives and all these are from heaven, not from ourselves.

John 17:22-23a

John 17:22-23a

John 17:22-23a And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me (NKJV)

Jesus says that He has given us the glory which the Heavenly Father gave Him, which indicates that the blessings that He received from God is also given to us. Glory also means “good opinion”, therefore when Jesus said that He gave us the glory which He received from God, it means He is also giving us the good opinion of God towards us. Today, when God sees you, He sees us as holy and blameless in His sight. If you face difficulties believing that God is good to you, how do you believe Him for the manifestation? If you do not believe that your parents are good to you, how do you return home with confidence? “that they may be one just as we are one” – Jesus has given us the same glory which He received from God, so that we can be one with God, just as Jesus is one with the Heavenly Father. How is that so? Jesus and God the Father are one. Jesus has given us God’s glory so that we can be one with them as well. That is why we can say, “Thank you Jesus for the blood”. Amen. Without the shedding of blood, we will still be sinners and doomed for hell. Hence, today, give thanks for all that you have, even for the air that you breathe.

Psalm 5:12

Tuesday, March 18, 2025

Psalm 5:12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. (NKJV)

The righteous is always inter-connected with God’s favour. God will surround you with favour as with a shield. Hence, no matter whether you are going for your treatment or going about your daily life or your business, or whether you are doing parenting, God will surround you with His favour as with a shield. Church, how many of you believe that you are righteous in Christ today? Remember that your righteousness is not from your own effort but it stems from Jesus’ finished work at the cross. Jesus was delivered up for the forgiveness of our sins and He was raised up from the dead because of our being declared righteous. Therefore you do not need to worry about whether you are still righteous or not when you did not attend church regularly. Even if you only attended services on Occasion Day, you are still righteous. However, we are in church not because we need to but because we want to. Beloved, remember that God will never leave you nor forsake you. In fact, He has gone ahead of you to plan for your 2025. Hence, it is time for you to take your position to know that you are forgiven, you are righteous and therefore you can have faith to know that you have access to peace with God and you have access to all the blessings that God has prepared for you.
