John 1:16

Wednesday, March 5, 2025

John 1:16 Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another. (GNT)

Grace is always meant to be received. One blessing after another. The world may want you to focus on the bad report, but today, your heavenly Father is giving you grace upon grace, never-ending waves of grace, one blessing after another. Let us all hold onto this promise – that our God wants to bless us with favor and earthly blessings in our lives. It does not mean that we can live our lives without any care just because God loves us unconditionally. Viewing things through the lens of grace means that when there is strife in your relationships, you can take the first step to apologize because you know how much God loves you. Today, Pastor Aaron proclaims that God desires you to live a holy life. God wants you to love your wife, to forgive your enemy, to not worry about your business and to depend on Him. These are the fruits of living in grace. It is difficult to live a holy life with just willpower alone. So, how do we work out all these holiness and good works?

Romans 8:32

Tuesday, March 4, 2025

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (NKJV)

God gave His Son for us. He did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us. If God is willing to give us His Son, how shall He not also freely give us all things? Hence, our focus in life should not be on “things” – healing, money, or relationships, but rather on “the Son” which God did not spare but delivered up for us. If you have a revelation of the price of the Son which God sacrificed for you, all the “things” you seek will come to fruition. Psalm 23 starts with The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want -it is the Shepherd we should always seek. Furthermore, verse 6 says that goodness and mercy will chase after you all the days of your life. Hence, we will all put our focus on the Lord and not on things, and yet in the heavenly life that we live, we will have all the things that we need because Jesus will supply. Simply put, if God could give us His only Son, why would He withhold all these lesser things from us? If God can give us His Son, what else is of more value than the Son?

Psalm 27:1b

Monday, March 3, 2025

Psalm 27:1b …The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? (NIV)

The Lord is the stronghold of your life. When you cannot be strong, the Lord is your stronghold. When you are depressed, the Lord is the stronghold of your life, so of whom shall you be afraid? Let that settle in your heart and mind today. If you feel like you have no more strength to move on, the Lord is telling you today that He is your stronghold. Return to the stronghold. Jesus is telling you, “Son, do not go anywhere else anymore. Daughter, stop crying outside anymore. Return. Come back home. Come back to Me. I am your stronghold. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” The world may be discussing their problems, but in the church, in the body of Christ, we are lifting the name of Jesus. He is our sole focus. Come to Jesus. People can hurt you, but the Lord will never do that. Return to the stronghold. Amen!

Sunday, March 2, 2025

1Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? (NKJV)

Who makes you different from another? What makes you better? What do you have that you did not receive? Everything you have is received from God. If you have received it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? Very often we boast as though we earned it by ourselves. We boast about our children’s success, our possessions, our looks, etc as if all these are by our own efforts. But the Bible says, “What do you have that you did not receive?” All that you have, you received from God. So why do you boast? Bible in 2Corinthians 12:9 - And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Paul said he would rather boast in his infirmities or weaknesses. When you know that all you have was received from the Lord, like Paul you would want to boast in your weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon you. Instead of boasting about your possessions, it would be better to boast about your weaknesses. Let us come to a point where we can say that in fact, we have nothing because all that we have is from the Lord, that the power of Christ may rest upon us. Although we cannot see it yet, we know the power of Christ rests upon us. We speak Jesus from the mountains, we speak Jesus in the streets, and we pray Jesus’ power in the darkness over every enemy. Jesus is for our family, so we speak the holy name of Jesus. Amen!

Ephesians 5:16

Saturday, March 1, 2025

Ephesians 5:16 redeeming the time (kairos), because the days are evil. (NKJV)

When we walk wisely, we will redeem the time because the days are evil. The” time” does not refer to chronology but it refers to “kairos”, meaning the right time or the opportune time which comes from God. In Greek, it refers to a season of godly-arranged opportunities in your life. God provides in His perfect timing. In your relationships, God can arrange for you to meet the right person at the right time, and that person will be good for you. Can we, as parents, arrange that for our children? We cannot because there are many things we do not know, but God is all-knowing. When we learn how to walk wisely, we can redeem the time and utilise God's appointed time in our lives. Each day, we can walk along paths that have been pre-arranged for us by God. You will be married at the right time to the right person. You will give birth at the right time to the right child. You will secure a mega project at the right time for your company. God will grant us wisdom so that we can redeem God’s “kairos” blessings and timing in our lives so that all things will work according to His plan.

Ephesians 6:15

Friday, February 28, 2025

Ephesians 6:15 “readiness” and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (NIV)

In Ephesians 6 which speaks about the armour of God, there is one part about your feet. Your feet is important because it signifies where you walk in life. Today we are in a spiritual warfare but when we go into peace, when our mind is stayed on Jesus, when we understand that we are the righteousness of God, this gospel of peace gives us a readiness to walk our life, so that no matter what comes we can say that My God, who is inside me is greater than the one outside.Today, we can boldly declare that in the presence of Jesus, our problems will melt like wax. Sometimes we may feel that we are just not ready to face tomorrow and that is why stress comes in. Then we start losing sleep and get irritable and grumpy with the people around us. All these stems from fear in the first place. The bible says that our battle is not against flesh and blood (people) but against spiritual authority. Therefore, the problem is not your spouse, the problem is not that person who is always picking on you but the problem is something spiritual, the devil who wants to steal, kill, and destroy your life. But today, as a church, when we declare that we want to enter that place of shalom peace, where our mind is not stayed on anything else but only on the person on Jesus, we will be ready to see more miracles happen in church.

Ephesians 5:14

Thursday, February 27, 2025

Ephesians 5:14 Awake, you who sleep (having no concern), Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light. (NKJV)

We frequently believe we are awake while, in fact, we are "sleeping". Why is this the case? It is because we tend to be distracted by many things in this world to the extent we neglect to treasure the simple things in life. In this passage, the Bible defines "sleep" as "having no concern." Even though the word of God says that we are so blessed, wealthier than many nations, we often brush it off like water off a duck's back. We have no concern for it. We are just "sleeping," oblivious about what is happening around us. Church, we do not belong to this group who sleep and have no concern. We have been woken. Amen! We belong to the group who is awake because we are aware that the rapture draws near. We have no time for worry or jealousy; we have no time for conflicts; we have no time to harbour petty grudges. Unfortunately, we tend to hold on to resentment when the other party has completely forgotten all about it and is unconcerned about the resentment within you. Therefore today not to "sleep" any longer. Let us not waste any more time fretting or reflecting on the past. Live in the present moment. Awake! And Christ will give you light. The light of Christ shines upon you, whether you realise it or not. As a result, be awake and vigilant. You were never intended to live a life of disease or worry; you were not meant to have shattered relationships; you were not designed to live a life of scarcity. Why? Because Christ has already shone His light upon us.

John 2:7

Wednesday, February 26, 2025

John 2:7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the water-pots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. (NKJV)

In the land of Canaan, at a wedding feast, the wine had run out. Jesus instructed them to fill the water-pots with water. Do you know that we are all water-pots? What does water in the Bible mean? Water means the word of God. In the verse, they filled the water-pots with water, and they filled them up to the brim. Similarly for us, we need to fill our lives with the word of God. We all know the ending of the story - when the water-pots were filled to the brim, the water turned into wine. The Lord desires you to enjoy life from the inside out. The word of God may appear ordinary in your hands. Some people think that they can gain more knowledge by reading other books such as motivational books that can teach them the steps to live a better life, how to get rich quick etc. Do you know that the word of God , this water in your hands, can turn into wine? When you have the word of God , it can turn into wine, inside out. Only the word , only Jesus can do this. Therefore, whenever you feel hopeless, when you don’t know what to do or when you face challenges in your life, remember to fill yourself to the brim with God’s word by speaking and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

Monday, February 24, 2025

1Corinthians 3:19a For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God… (NKJV)
1Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; (NKJV)

The bible describes two types of wisdom – wisdom of the world and wisdom from God. God deems the wisdom of this world as foolishness. What holds significance in the world's eyes is considered insignificant in God's perspective. Undoubtedly, education holds importance, but it should not be our primary dependence. Despite the presence of many highly educated individuals in the world, failure can still occur. While experience is valuable, it should not be our sole foundation. Therefore, all our actions in life should be guided by wisdom from God.What is wise in the sight of the world is foolishness with God. Conversely, what is labeled as foolish by the world can transform into wisdom through God's intervention. What the world dismisses as insignificant can be made mighty by God. The world might tell you that memorizing bible verses holds only spiritual value and lacks real-life applicability, but we know that His word imparts divine wisdom and God’s wisdom bears good fruits. The world may view our children memorizing the word of God instead of studying as foolish, but memorizing the word aligns with the wisdom of God. It is a better choice than engaging in harmful activities. God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise. Church, it is vital to understand that wisdom is the most essential thing to seek.

Philippians 4:6-7

Sunday, February 23, 2025

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (NKJV)

Let our prayers be prayers of thanksgiving and not prayers of pleading. God wants us to bring all our requests to Him. Let us start talking to God. Let us tell Him about our fears, our worries, and our anxieties. Talk to Him about your business and your relationships. Talk to Him about your sleep problem. Tell Him everything. When you do that, your focus is not on yourself but on God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. When you present your requests to God, it is also always through Christ Jesus. Apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. Therefore, unless the Lord builds your house, you build it in vain. When the Lord builds your house, you will reap what you did not sow. You will walk through life with the blessings of God chasing after you. Amen!

Hebrews 12:2a

Saturday, February 22, 2025

Hebrews 12:2a Looking (aphorao - turning away from one thing to look at another) unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith... (NKJV)

When we talk about faith, it is not about how we can increase our faith. It is not about how we can make ourselves believe and depend on God. It is nothing about using our own efforts. The secret is to look unto Jesus. The bible says that He is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the start and the finisher of our faith. There is nothing of us there, nothing about what we can do in the middle of this faith. So, faith is nothing about us. The only thing we need to do is to look unto Jesus. If you are going through a storm in your life, if you are having a stressful time, if you see a big mountain in front of you, as a bride of Jesus, choose to look upon Jesus, the start and the finisher of your faith. The Greek word for “looking” here is “aphorao” which means turning away from one thing to look at another. Perhaps Jesus is telling you to turn away from that bad medical report and just look upon Him. Can you turn away from that regret in your life and look at Him? Can you turn away from that issue that is bothering you and making you sleepless at night, and look unto Him? Can we all turn to look at our bridegroom who loves us so much? Can we just trust Him to take care of our lives? Because all our lives, He has been faithful.

Friday, February 21, 2025

1John 2: 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. (NKJV)

Truth be told, our earthly journey often revolves around the pursuit of pride and self-importance. We find pride in various aspects of life, such as our children, businesses, wealth, and appearances. Matthew 6:32 says that the Father knows that we need all these things, but it tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. The allure of worldly possessions and achievements may bring temporary satisfaction, but they can never truly fulfill us. The excitement of acquiring a new car may fade over time, and even the initial thrill of marriage might diminish after several years. However, God calls us to something more profound and lasting. In the first miracle of Jesus, He turned water into wine at a wedding. God calls us to have a marriage that is intoxicating like wine, which means your marital life should grow more exciting and fulfilling as the years pass by.

Acts 17:28

Thursday, February 20, 2025

Acts 17:28 for in Him we live and move and have our being... (NKJV)

Church, you now know what it is like to be in Jesus. When you apply His word in your life, you are abiding in Jesus. When we are in Jesus, we can live, move, and have our being. Why are we unhappy sometimes? We lose sight of the fact that we are just human beings. Let us not be obsessed by the never-ending quest for doing and acquiring. God has called us to "be" - to embrace our true selves without attempting to imitate others or trying to be someone else. Only in Jesus we can live and move, have our being, and be satisfied in our souls. Matthew 4:4 (NKJV) But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. ”

James 1:5

Wednesday, February 19, 2025

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (NKJV)

Do you find yourself lacking wisdom? Some individuals may hold the belief that they already possess wisdom, deeming their existing knowledge sufficient for navigating life's journey. However, it is essential for us to know the truth that every one of us lacks wisdom. We lack wisdom in communication and in our relationships, managing our businesses and parenting our children. The bible tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask of God and He will give it to us all liberally and without reproach. God will give it to us generously without finding fault with us because God sees us as righteous. With one sacrifice, Jesus has perfected forever those who are being sanctified (Hebrews 10:14). By one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. Our standing in Christ and our identity has been perfected forever. We are entirely righteous in Christ. As believers, in our daily living, we are continuously being sanctified and made holy. It is a process. As we receive wisdom, our life will progressively improve. The bible says the life of the righteous will be brighter and brighter. Let us all pray for divine wisdom today. Amen!

Romans 6:4

Tuesday, February 18, 2025

Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (NIV)

Today, we have been buried with Jesus into death through baptism. Therefore, let us see ourselves buried together with Jesus on the cross to live a new life just as Jesus was raised from the dead. Our old selves have been buried with Jesus on the cross, and we have raised together with Him to a new life. According to the Bible, we are now a new creation; the old has passed, and the new has come. Amen! We are all young and revitalized today. We have a new life. The Bible in Psalms 92 states that those planted in the house of the Lord will bear fruit in old age, and you will be fresh and flourishing. We are to understand that when Jesus went to the cross, we were sacrificed together with Him. We were raised with Him when He was risen, hence we are a living sacrifice. Moreover, the Bible states that this is true and proper worship. Hence, whenever you encounter any issue, instead of depending on your own knowledge and efforts, believe that you have already been sacrificed and buried together with Jesus and raised up together with Him so that today you can expect to live a new life. Dear friends, the Bible continuously reminds you that you are not alone; Immanuel is with you, and God is always with you.

Isaiah 43:18-19

Monday, February 17, 2025

Isaiah 43:18-19 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV)

Yet, some people dwell on the past despite being physically present. This may be caused by a bad childhood experience, the unfaithfulness of someone close, an insult by someone, or some other bad experience. Why are you still living in the past when God has called you to live in the present? God is telling you not to dwell on the past. He is now doing something new for you, giving you something new in your children's lives. He is doing something new for you for the rest of the year. Now it appears; do you not perceive it? Many of us cannot see in our hearts what the Lord has in store for us. We are not perceiving, but we are reasoning. When we infer too much and see only the negatives, we lose the joy in life. According to the Bible, God is providing a way for you in your wilderness and when you are thirsty. God says He is making streams for you and providing for you in the wasteland. Amen! Today, God is asking you, "Do you not perceive that I am doing a new thing in your life?"

Luke 15:23

Sunday, February 16, 2025

Luke 15:23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. (NIV)

This particular aspect of the parable holds great significance. What Jesus wants us to grasp here is not the prodigal son's faults. The fattened calf has been killed. Often, we tend to dwell on our own shortcomings, mistakes, weaknesses, and temper issues. However, God is not preoccupied with our shortfalls. The fattened calf has already been sacrificed. God has already sent His Son to die on the cross for us. Jesus' blood has been shed, and His body has been broken. And what did the father say? ‘Let’s have a feast and celebrate.” He did not say, “You have a feast and celebrate.” It's "Let’s..." - involving both the father and the son. Likewise, today, you are sitting together with your heavenly Father and feasting. You are celebrating with your heavenly Father, so you can be joyful. What significance does the fattened calf hold? It means that today, you are feasting on Jesus’ body. You are drinking His blood, which is why you can be joyful. This joy is not dependent on our actions or lack thereof. Hence today, we do not need to hide from God even if we have made mistakes. The fattened calf has already been killed. Today, God desires us to remember our position and identity. When we partake of Jesus’ body and His blood, we will be satisfied and joyful, not related to our performance. What truly matters is that the fattened calf has already been sacrificed. Consequently, today, we can feast and celebrate in the presence of our heavenly Father. Amen!

Romans 7:6

Saturday, February 15, 2025

Romans 7:6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (NKJV)

Previously when we were under the law, although the law is good, it could not help you. It could only tell you your imperfections and set the standard that needs to be fulfilled. The standard that needs to be met is impossible for us. Conversely, under grace, we serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter with our heart. For an example in a relationship, we do not follow particular steps or orders in a date, but rather is based on the heart. When you know the difference between these two husbands, which one do you choose? When you accept Jesus, you are under Jesus. The first husband, Adam, only deemed that you are unworthy, always in the wrong “X”. On the other hand, under Jesus, because of one drip of His blood, the Chinese word “ 义 ” is formed, meaning you are righteous in Christ. Hence, we are blessed to be freed from the first husband and accepted by the second husband. Let us now see what changed before and after we accepted Christ. Today, we are so blessed.

Psalm 27:5

Friday, February 14, 2025

Psalm 27:5 For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. (NIV)

How many of you desire to be safe in His dwelling? Beloved, the truth is that the Lord is always with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. The question is: Are you conscious of His presence in your life? When you wake up tomorrow morning, will you be mindful of His presence? Regardless of whether you are aware of it or not, the Lord is still with you. Amen! However, the difference is that you will either live a life of fear or a life of rest. Friends, let us not live with fear in life. We do not want sleepless nights. We do not want to control everything ourselves. Let us all be conscious that the Lord is always with us and will raise us up in life. He will keep us safe. His goodness and mercy will pursue us all the days of our lives. We are successful because the Lord is with us, not because of what we have or do. He is not distant, He is very close. Those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High God will be under the shadow of the Almighty. How do we step into His shadow? We need to be very close to Him for it to be so. Do you realize that Jesus is very close to you right now? He understands every fear, every worry, and every bitterness in your heart. It is time for you to turn to Him and tell Him that you want to submit every worry and fear to Him. You want to entrust your children, business, and health into His hands under the kairos time. Amen!

Luke 24:27

Thursday, February 13, 2025

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. (NKJV)

While walking alongside them, Jesus expounded these two disciples the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures, beginning from Moses to all the Prophets. If you seek hope in life, desire breakthroughs, and are determined not to let this year go to waste, start delving into matters concerning this one man, Jesus Christ – what is He proclaiming in your life? What is He telling you? Hence, keep the word of God in memory for aid in times of need or depression. When confronted by fear, no comforting words from friends or family can provide lasting comfort. Similarly, words of encouragement from friends cannot help you combat your addictions. Hence, We need a steadfast platform or anchor, and that is the word of God which can sustain us in life. As we start believing Him in our hearts, let us also understand the heart of our heavenly Father. Do you perceive Him as a punitive God or are you seeing Him as a God of grace? The bible attests that Jesus came to fulfil all the requirements of the law on our behalf. Can you discern the grace of the Father in this truth? There is not a single sin which has not been addressed by the blood of Jesus. All we need to do is to believe that we have been made righteous in Christ.
