Genesis 1:24
Genesis 1:24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind…" (NKJV)
When God commanded the earth to bring forth living creatures according to their kind, He established a principle: every creature produces after its own kind. A mouse gives birth to a mouse, not a chicken. A human gives birth to another human. In the same way, when the Bible says that you are born of God, it means you now carry His nature. You have His divine qualities living within you. So, knowing that you are born of God, would you still be afraid when facing challenges? No. Because you are no longer facing them in your own strength. As a child of God, you can speak to the issues with confidence and authority— just as God would. So often, we pray and wait for God to move on our behalf, expecting His hand to fix our situation. But God is actually waiting for us to open our mouths and speak to the problem. When a Christian understands the authority he has as a child of God, he will begin to declare with boldness: This problem has no power over me—it is already under my feet. That bad medical report? It is already under your feet. Your words carry power, because you are not created or adopted, but you are born of God. And as His child, you carry His nature and His authority. Amen!
