1 Peter 1:3 …who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (NKJV)

Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we now live with a living hope. This hope is not just for the future—it is alive and active in our lives today. But then why do some Christians still feel hopeless? Why do we hear things like, “Don’t get your hopes up—you might be disappointed,” or “Life will only get better in heaven”? Church, that is not what the Bible teaches. Life is not meant to be a struggle for the child of God. Did Jesus ever suffer from sickness or disease? No. Did the apostle Paul ever succumb to illness? No. In fact, when a deadly viper bit his hand, he simply shook it off —and suffered no harm. Why? Because Paul was living in the truth of his identity in Christ. You too have been born again to a living hope. It is time to walk in that hope— with confidence, with joy, and with the full knowledge of your identity in Christ. Amen!
