Matthew 10:31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. (NKJV)
所以，不要惧怕。主耶稣对你们说不要害怕。在神眼中，你们⽐许多的⿇雀还贵重。神说，⼀辆卡⻋的⿇雀也不能与你相⽐。你在祂眼中是贵重的。这就是为什么主耶稣说：你们不⽐⻜⻦贵重得多吗？你的天⽗养活⻜⻦，但在祂眼中，许多的⻜⻦也不能与你们相⽐。我们可能已经深受社会观念影响，认为⾃⼰没有价值，觉得 我们的价值定位在薪资的多寡。有些男⼠觉得，只有在送花或与他们的妻⼦共进餐时，他们的妻⼦才会关注他们。在这个世界上，我们永远⽆法得到他⼈⽆条件的爱。 事实上，这个世界上根本不存在⽆条件的爱。唯有神的爱是毫⽆条件的。今天让我们开始默想这段经⽂，晓得我们在神眼中是何等尊贵，因此我们不要害怕，也不要畏惧。
So do not be afraid. Jesus is telling each one of you not to be afraid. You are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. God is saying that one lorry-load of sparrows cannot be compared to you. You are more valuable to Him. That is why Jesus said, “Are you not of more value than they?” Your Father feeds the birds, but the whole flock of birds cannot be compared to you in God’s eyes. We may have been conditioned by society to think that we are not valuable, to feel that our value is tagged to the amount of salary we get. Some men feel that their wives pay attention to them only if they are being given flowers or taken to dinners. We can never be unconditionally loved by another person in this world. In fact, there is no unconditional love in this world at all. Only the love of God is unconditional. Today let us start meditating on this verse that we are more valuable to God, so we need not be afraid, nor do we need to fear. Speaking of birds reminds Pastor Aaron of Psalm 91.
