James 1:23-24 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. (NKJV)
如果你听了神的道却不相信，只是这话语的听者，⽽不是实⾏者，那你的⾔⾏举⽌就⽆法反映出真正的福⾳，也⽆法展现保罗所传讲的信息。你就像⼈对着镜⼦观看⾃⼰⽣来的⾯貌，却转⾝就忘了⾃⼰⻓什么样——你忘记了⾃⼰在基督⾥的真实⾝份和新本性。当你⼜回到从旧⼈的思维模式时，你就会把⾃⼰看作软弱⽆⼒的。但教会，这不是你真正的⾯貌。许多神的⼉⼥忘了他们现在已经拥有了神的性情。但当你真正明⽩你有祂的本性时，你就得以刚强壮胆，再次兴起来，你会开始活出得胜的⼈⽣，⽽不是失败的⼈⽣。为什么呢？因为你是从圣灵⽽⽣、是从上头⽣下来的、是从神⽣的。你与基督合⽽为⼀。当然，你不是基督本⼈，但你在这世上活着的⽅式， 正如基督⼀般。正如保罗所说的：“我活着就是基督，死了就有益处”(腓⽴⽐书 1:21)。基督所能做的事，我们也能做 ——因为祂的⽣命如今就是我们的⽣命。阿们！
If you hear the Word but do not believe it, then your words and actions will not reflect the true gospel or the message Paul preached. You will be like a man who looks into a mirror but immediately forgets what he looks like—you forget your true nature and identity in Christ. When you fall back into thinking from your old human nature, you will see yourself as weak and feeble. But Church, that is not who you are. Many believers forget that they now carry God’s divine nature within them. But when you truly understand that you have His nature, boldness rises up and you will begin to live victoriously, not defeated. Why? Because you are born of the Spirit, born from above, born of God. You are one with Christ. You are not Christ Himself—but you live as Christ in this world. As Paul declared, “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). What Christ can do, we can do also—because His life is now our life. Amen！
