John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. (NKJV)
主耶稣在这节经⽂中的话对我们有极其重要的意义。有⼀句俗话说：“你吃什么， 就成为什么。”同样的道理，你以什么来喂养 ⾃⼰的⼼灵和思维⾄关重要。如果你从讲台 上所听到的信息是叫你感到被定罪——神不爱你，祂忿怒于你，或者是因为你不够好等等——那你的⼈⽣就会开始变得沉重、劳苦重担。在这样的⾼压之下，“⽅⾈”(教会，⼈的⽣命) 是⽆法前进的。 但圣灵降临是为了⼀个⽬的：要引导我们进⼊⼀切的真理。有⼀个译本这样翻译：他要带领我们进⼊⼀切的真相。既然耶稣已经在⼗字架上完成了救赎的⼯作，那么接下来的就只有⼀件事——圣灵要带领我们进⼊⼀切的真相，全⾯的来认识这真理。阿们！
The words of Jesus in this verse carry an important message for us. There is a saying: “You are what you eat.” In the same way, what you feed your heart and mind with matters deeply. If the preaching you hear from the pulpit leaves you feeling condemned—telling you that God is angry with you, that He does not love you, or that your problems are a result of you being not good enough—then your life will begin to feel heavy and burdened. Under that weight, the “ark” cannot move. But the Holy Spirit has come for one purpose: to guide us into all truth. One translation says He will bring us into all truth. Since Jesus has already completed the work of redemption at the cross, the only thing left is for the Holy Spirit to lead us into the full understanding of that truth. Amen!
