Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power; (NKJV)
This power is not something we need to beg for—it is already within us. And it is not just any power; it is the immeasurably great and mighty power of God, working in and through those who believe. Many Christians live unaware of their calling. They do not realize the richness of the inheritance they already have in Christ. As a result, they walk through life feeling empty, even though God has already filled them with every spiritual blessing. You have everything— but sometimes you feel as though you have nothing. This mindset is especially common in our culture. Many people—especially in the Chinese community—have been conditioned to deny what they already possess. Even when they have something good, they downplay it or speak as if they don’t have it. Brothers and sisters, it is time to change the way we speak. When someone tells you, “You look good!” or “You’re getting younger!”, don’t deflect it. Say, “Thank you!” and give glory to God. Acknowledge His goodness at work in your life. This is part of seeing with enlightened eyes—recognizing what He has already placed in you. You are called. You have a glorious inheritance. And the exceedingly great power of God is already at work in you. Amen!
